Drawing and Painting Autumn 2023
'Celebration ' Wednesdays 10 am - 12noon from 2oth September For beginner and improvers. 11 classes in 2 blocks of 5 and 6 The theme this term is ‘Celebration’ which will give us a focus for exploring a range of arts materials and techniques including lino printing, Neocolour, acrylic and other paints, and Brusho. Students are free to use their favourite materials and to to suggest topics, methods, or materials you would like me to cover during the course. Some materials will be available for experimentation. Venue St Mary’s Hall, Howard Road, Walkley Sheffield, S6 3RX St Mary's is ground floor and has accessible facilities. Booking essential - email to ensure there are spaces. Payment by Paypal to [email protected] or by BACS (email or phone me for my bank details) Costs: £40 for a block of 5 sessions or £80 for all 11 sessions Dates: Block 1: September 20th to October 18th inclusive and Block 2: November 1st to December 6th inclusive Workshops on the move Most of the workshops above can be adapted for outdoor events or workshops in other venues. for outdoor and indoor festivals and events I also can lead workshops in a variety of craft activities for children and adults. Kite Making For festivals and events, I lead a small kite making workshop to make and decorate a simple kite in 15 minutes. Great fun for all ages or as a family workshop. Children under 7 may require some assistance from parents or carers. Cardboard Puppet Making For festivals and events, I lead a articulated puppet making workshop to make and decorate a simple kite in 15 minutes. Busy Bee or Creepy Crawly Making For festivals and events, i lead range of activities for children up to about 12 with armbands, masks, bird scarers/plant ties, peg dolls and more. |
